Les îles thaïlandaises sont accessibles par ferry. Les principaux opérateurs : Lomprayah (catamarans rapides, Golfe), Seatran Discovery (Golfe), Raja Ferry (ferries automobiles, Golfe), Tigerline (Andaman), Songserm (les deux côtes).

La manière la plus pratique de voyager : Bus/Train/Vol + Ferry en un seul billet. L'opérateur organise le transfert entre la gare routière/l'aéroport et le quai.

💡 Tipp
Les catamarans Lomprayah sont plus rapides et confortables, mais peuvent provoquer le mal de mer par temps agité. Ceux qui sont sensibles devraient prendre le ferry automobile Raja, plus lent et plus stable. Des comprimés contre le mal de mer sont disponibles dans chaque 7-Eleven.
Achtung
De nombreuses liaisons par ferry sur la côte d'Andaman (Koh Lipe, Koh Lanta → Phi Phi) sont suspendues ou fortement réduites pendant la saison des pluies (mai–octobre). Vérifiez toujours à l'avance !
